As we mentioned previously, lureandfly.com with the support of Hobie and Daiwa will hold Ebay auctions for 5 Daiwa rod and reel combos as well as a brand new Hobie Mirage Outback Kayak in conjunction with the ABT Bream, Classic and Kayak Grand Finals this year.
Every cent raised will be donated to the Cancer Council as part of lureandfly.com’s ‘Do your thing’.
So what’s on offer!
Hobie have just confirmed that they will be donating a brand new Hobie Mirage Outback Kayak, while just this week Kris, Steve, Josh, Chris and Greg have all selected the Daiwa outfits that they will be using during the Finals Series. They are as follows (click the links to check out the specs):
- Kris Hickson - Daiwa Gen Black 641LFS Pinster Rod and Daiwa Ballistic 2000 Reel spooled with 10lb Daiwa Shinobi braid.
- Steve Morgan - Daiwa MX Ajing 74L-S Rod and Daiwa Caldia 2000 Reel spooled with 3lb Daiwa Finesse Brave Fluoro carbon.
- Josh Carpenter - Daiwa Gen Black Drunkn Monkey and Daiwa Freams 2000 Reel spooled with 3lb Daiwa Finesse Brave Fluoro carbon.
- Chris Seeto - Daiwa Black Label Versatile 631ULFS Rod and Daiwa Freams 2000 Reel spooled with 3lb Daiwa Finesse Brave Fluoro carbon.
- Greg Seeto - Daiwa TDX 6101ULFS Rod and Daiwa Caldia 2000 Reel spooled with 3lb Daiwa Finesse Brave Fluoro carbon.
The Ebay auctions for these items will commence on 9th November and run for 10 days until the 18thNovember (link will be available once the auctions go live).
