I had no preconceived ideas of how the fishing would be heading into this year’s Australian Open.  Previously it has been held in January but with the weather still warm […]

Mortal Kombat : Austackle Shinku vs Tiemco Stick Minnow

OK, I most definitely caught this affliction off the Seeto boys and they probably got it off Steve Morgan but hands down Tiemco Stick Minnows are one of the most […]

It’s not often I get giddy about a hook…..

January 17, 2013by JoshCarpenter 2 Comments

It’s true. While I could certainly accuse the Seeto boys of being “hook whores” at times, constantly changing and throwing out what to me at least are perfectly good hooks, […]

Welcome to lureandfly.com

lureandfly.com

What started as four has now become five. The three Seeto brothers, Greg, Ian and Chris along with Josh Carpenter and Vicki Lear share their passion for fishing on this site.

Lureandfly.com started a few years ago with a simple, broad idea, to be the kind of site that we would have loved to read when we first got right into fishing. All five of us met through the tournament scene but we also love getting out there and chasing anything with fins.

One week we might be chasing mountain Trout in a tiny stream, the next chasing Marlin offshore. If it swims, we want to catch it and try and help you catch it.

Between us, we regularly contribute to Fishing World, Fishing Monthly, Tournament Angler Guide, Tackle Junkie and Yak Fisher magazines.

Check out all of our articles, galleries and videos

If you'd like to contribute to Cancer Council NSW you can do so through our official lureandfly.com Do your thing page.
