What’s in your Milkcrate?

Although many of the modern day kayaks that we are accustomed to seeing on our waterways are packed full of built in storage options, many Kayak fisho’s still resort to the use of old plastic milk crates strapped to their kayaks to store their gear…

The Milkcrate Magazine is a USA based online “gathering place”, focussing on defining the Kayak Angling culture.

In it’s latest issue, the theme is Australia, and The Milkcrate interviewed three anglers at the forefront of Australian Kayak Angling, Hobie Fishing Team Member Paul O’Leary, WA angler, writer and film maker Brett Ozanne and Josh Holmes, publisher of the Yakass website and 10 year veteran of the sport.

I’m therefore honoured that the Magazine felt inclined to interview “yours truly” as well, and have showcased some of the photography posted up on lureandfly.com.

Hope you enjoy my ramblings.
