You could cut the tension with a knife

I’m waiting for you team. Come and get me

It’s no secret around here that the four of us fairly well suck at life during winter. I still can’t put my finger on exactly why, and right now…… I don’t care. You know why? Because winter is finally over. I can stop making excuses and trying to justify why I suck and simply revel in the tons of fish I start catching from here on in.

The four of us have had a ton of rods and lures to try out and review but the last few months have had all of us scratching our head more often than not after a trip out but that comes to an end this weekend.

OK, technically this weekend is still winter but it’s actually the last weekend of Cod season. Next weekend is the opening of Bass and EP season and in another month Trout season opens. Add to this grand finals and multiple trips away for other weekends and I am champing at the bit to get to it.

This weekend is the trip to Burrinjuck which going on last times visit should be great. “Wait until spring” was the catch cry of the weekend from Scott Lear and even though those two days were a little slow the lake looked amazing and the possibilities were what had me buzzing.

The Shoalhaven river may also be my new stomping ground once Bass season opens and from all reports the EP’s are in full swing at the moment too.

So, “viva la…… not winter” and keep an eye out for the product reviews and tests to come thick and fast from here on in.
